Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Cloud Account Executive - (Northeast) territory to support our Cloud Platform Solutions (CPS) Practice supporting our Notheast Territory, which includes Boston down to the DC.  The Specialist will focus on the Cloud Portfolio at Perficient (infrastructure, containers, modernization, cloud native development, etc.).   This seller will be aligned to our key partnerships in each of these disciplines, which includes Google, Red Hat, Amazon, and VMWare. They work in an overlay capacity with Account Developers in existing clients, but also have the responsibility to open new client relationships.  

 

This is a quota-carrying sales position.  Candidates with delivery experience in the disciplines listed above but no prior sales experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall relationship and communication with key clients and have full command of their business model, application landscape and how Perficient solutions deliver value. 
  • Will be responsible for identifying net new accounts while also working with existing Perficient customers.
  • Manage and execute the entire end-to-end selling process, working closely with the Perficient delivery team (initial lead inquiry, qualification of opportunities, requirements gathering, project scope definition, effort estimation, proposal development, SOW creation, contract negotiation and closing).
  • Develop and manage key relationships with our industry software partners and their customers to drive additional new business and provide proper communication on account activity.
  • Lead and manage cusomer engagement opportunities from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations and closing a deal.
  • Ability to travel to client sites where needed (up to 25% travel).

 

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of CPS
  • Experience in supporting the solution for complex challenges preferred.
  • Experience in demostrating technology solutions preferred.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their challenges and recommend solutions that add value to their business
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
