Digital Marketing Strategist

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will be a part of Perficient' Digital Marketing Solutions practice. Your primary responsibility is to define, manage, and evolve the digital marketing strategy of top clients within BtoB and BtoC markets. The selected Digital Marketing Strategist candidate will demonstrate expert knowledge of all digital marketing channels with a particular focus on the capabilities of SEO, Paid Search, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Paid Media, Email, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Content Marketing as well as confidently advise clients on the latest trends in marketing technologies, methodologies, processes and measured results across the digital marketing landscape. Additionally, you should be passionate about helping digital/marketing teams enable the right technology, data, and strategies to deliver optimized digital experiences, so they can reach their business goals. You recognize the complexity of enterprise digital marketing, have deep knowledge in building personalized experiences, and understand how to capitalize on data and technology to fulfill clients’ growth goals.

You will help to establish Perficient Digital Marketing as a sought-after leader and innovator by touting your knowledge and expertise of the latest trends across digital marketing, media, data, and technology. You will create advanced solutions for our largest and most strategic clients and client pursuits and will help define how digital marketing services are sold and delivered with larger Perficient solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of marketing strategies and solutions for our enterprise client

  • Be instrumental in creating initial and ongoing actionable, billable strategies for key clients and opportunities
  • Be an expert of Perficient’s Digital Marketing services & solutions to pitch and win business for Digital Marketing
  • Be instrumental in helping develop nascent or build new capabilities, particularly around leveraging marketing data to drive marketing strategies, within the Digital Marketing team to match and precede market and client need.
  • Build and maintain expert-level knowledge for the latest trends, players, capabilities, methodologies and strategies across the digital marketing landscape
  • Act as digital marketing lead in developing client requirements for marketplace solutions and data integrations to fuel digital marketing and deliver maximum results
  • Understand how to improve functional capabilities of existing marketing tools, define logical integrations between them and develop digital marketing action plans to maximize those tools
  • Act as a key leader for the overall digital marketing leadership team, participating in the building and executing of our long-term roadmap, business case development and overall business growth.
  • Work with Perficient Digital sellers, account directors, technology partners, account client partners, and subject matter experts to identify, prioritize, and win new business
  • Work cross-functionally within the Digital Marketing business unit as well as alongside colleagues within the Data & Intelligence, Commerce, and Experience Design business units to deliver best in industry solutions.
  • Develop and share compelling thought leadership content to drive sales pipeline value and close rates
  • Credentialize Perficient Digital acting as a thought leader and evangelist by speaking at shows, joining client/pursuit meetings and activities to cultivate strategic relationships with executives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of comprehensive, hands-on cross/omni-channel consulting or brand side experience across a variety of industry verticals
  • Have proven experience managing digital marketing programs for brands at an enterprise-scale.
  • Have proven experience managing/selling agency solutions and programs into enterprise-scale accounts and ability to incorporate integrated technology into discussion and strategy
  • Knowledge of paid platforms, e-commerce marketplace ad platforms and/or Amazon advertising
  • Able to demonstrate excellent client communication and presentation skills to quickly identify opportunity and stitch together a seamless story
  • Proficient or functionally familiar in one or more of our enterprise partner marketing cloud platforms – Adobe, Salesforce, Epi/Optimizely and Sitecore
  • Ability to make sense and find insights with large data sets in order to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with a direct-to-consumer (DTC), business-to-business (BtoB) and/or eCommerce focused brand a plus
  • Must possess strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent in problem-solving and decision-making
  • A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and manage time well.
  • Highest attention to detail in producing sales and opportunity decks
