Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Intelligent Automation Architect. This position can be remote and located anywhere in the U.S., with up to 90% travel to client sites expected.

 

Job Overview:

 

As an Intelligent Automation Architect, you will be responsible for guiding our clients through their digital process automation (DPA), robotic process automation (RPA), and Artificial intelligence journey. This highly collaborative role will need to work closely with clients on their strategic priorities, process discovery, process model design, and impact assessment to define quality solutions for our customers. This includes helping the delivery teams understand the bigger picture of the client’s needs, including client motivation and possible barriers to client success. The leadership role includes client organizational alignment, providing oversight regarding technical best practices and mentoring other team members, setting up the center of expertise (CoE), and defining end-to-end delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients through identifying candidates for automation.
  • Provide oversight on customer engagements to ensure Intelligent Automation best practice on industry-leading UiPath, BluePrism or Automation Anywhere platforms.
  • Define Business Case, ROI, and KPI.
  • Define Current State and Design Future State Processes.
  • Document functional requirements.
  •  Establish governance structure, cadence, and processes (Intake, Stakeholders, Templates, Artifacts, etc.).
  • Assisting pre-sales teams including writing statements of work, the development of PoCs.`
  • Leading or contributing responses for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals to clients.
  • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases, including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, and deliver.
  • Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  • Soft skills for interaction with customers for requirement gathering and implementation.
  • Evaluate user requests for business process automation to determine feasibility and technical requirements.
  • Work with other consultants to define, design, and implement business process bases solutions.
  • Work with team members to identify, mitigate and resolve project issues and risks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
  • Participate in team design meetings, daily scrum meetings, and other development meetings.
  • Assist in application deployment and roll-out to production.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience, with strong relationship management, account management, and sales support experience.
  • 5+ years of automation experience with all aspects of the technology platform.
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high-quality projects. 
  • Hands-on with process discovery, project documentation. Well-versed in industry best practices and current technologies.
  • Appian, BluePrims, Pega or UiPath Experience is required.
  • Client-facing or consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Global Delivery Model is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience.
  • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision-makers.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Flexibility to travel.
