Job Overview:

As an Account Manager, you will be part of the backbone that drives Perficient’s revenue and growth - managing accounts that look to Perficient to unlock their customer experience through digital experience design, e-commerce, mobile apps, and more. You will be the primary contact and ultimate point of accountability on your accounts, responsible for overall client satisfaction and account health. You will be the driving force of a cross-functional team of project managers, strategists, creatives, and technologists. You will be working in collaboration with other disciplines in the agency to pursue opportunities, properly assess and scope work, assemble the right ongoing team, guide the client’s or project’s digital strategies, and ensure deliverables meet or exceed agency standards and client objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic solutions that are impactful, actionable, and measurable toward the client’s business goals
  • Develop and grow existing and new relationship with key account partners based on facilitated account plan and resulting quarterly action plan
  • Must possess strong collaboration and practice leadership skills
  • Drive solution direction and presentations to both prospects and existing clients
  • Maintain end-to-end understanding of Perficient’s digital capabilities to identify growth opportunities
  • Establish priorities in collaboration with client and help team adapt to changes in scope, priorities, and challenges
  • Deliver key communications and timely responses to critical client needs
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue goals while ensuring overall account health
  • Ensure Margin Targets are being met pre-and post-sale on projects
  • Serve as team lead managing team growth and direction

Qualifications

  • 7+ years representing the strategic viewpoint on projects, accounts, and relationships, solution development, presentation, contracting, account modelling, tracking & reporting, and client advocacy experience. 
  • Must demonstrate excellent client communication and presentation skills to gather requirements, sell in solutions, and build consensus
  • Represent the strategic vision on accounts, their associated projects, and client relationships
  • Apply creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver results
  • Ability to develop client strategies based on in-depth analysis of current and past results
  • Strong multitasking abilities and team leading skills
  • Deep knowledge of trends in technology, experience, and digital experience; background in UX strategy a plus
  • Experience with modern CMS (Adobe, Sitecore) and commerce (Magento, InSight) platforms a plus
  • BA/BS in a related or interesting field
