Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a DX Platform Sales Executive to drive new client revenue and achieve our aggressive sales growth goals. This position operates within our CMS Solutions Group.

 

Location: SE territory which includes the following Charlotte, NC down through FL.

 

Job Overview:

 

The DX Platforms Sales Executive is a limited portfolio seller, focused on a specific solution set, and aligned to our Sitecore and Optimizely partner relationships. This individual will have assigned territories and will be responsible for solution growth with all clients in their territory. The portfolio of solutions includes Digital Strategy, Experience Design, Digital Marketing, and the implementation, integration and evolution of the Sitecore and Optimizely platforms. DX Sales Execs work in an overlay capacity with Account Developers in existing clients, but also have the responsibility to open new client relationships.

 

You will manage the sales process and pursuit strategies that leverage Perficient’s digital solutions to meet the challenges our clients and prospects face.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Drive the end-to-end sales process, working closely with delivery teams and thought leaders.

  •  Engage and partner with key subject matter experts to pursue and win business. SMEs will help you define win   strategies, and create customer-centered points of view that will engender trust quickly and effectively.
  • Represent Perficient with partners and third parties at industry and demand generating events.
  • Contribute to the definition and creation of compelling propositions and a vision for each sales opportunity.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to net new target accounts.
  • Create and execute a strategic sales territory/account plan for your book of business: Identifying key stakeholders in the process, needs development and strategic approach to the pitch.
  • Build relationships with Perficient Local Business Unit (LBU) sellers and their respective General Managers to drive referral opportunities for your pipeline.
  • Manage the overall relationship and communicaiton with key clients and have full command of their business model and how Perficient solutions deliver value.
  • Maintain contacts & opportunities in Salesforce.com to support reporting & analytics.
  • Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources around prospecting and social selling.
  • Maintain Awareness of competitive activities, positioning and pricing and develop effective approaches to competing and winning against these competitors.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and events where needed (up to 50+% travel).
  • Meet or exceed sales and profitability quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.

 

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 1000 clients.
  • Minimum of 7 years of services sales or professional consulting experience. 
  • 4 (four) or more years of experience specifically selling web content management and/or digital marketing products and services. 
  • Strong understanding of web technology concepts and industry trends; 
  • Direct sales (hunter) experience please!
  • Has a “hunter” mentality – loves to target and open new accounts which expand Perficient’s client base. 
  • Knowledge of / experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling. 
  • Able to consultatively partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business. 
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration and team-building skills - comfort leading complex putsuits. 
  • Understands the business importance of and can maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast 
  • Understands and can work through client vendor management and contracting processes
