Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Oracle Analytics Server (OAS/OBIEE) Consultant.

 

Job Overview:

As an OAS/OBIEE Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the OAS development lifecycle which includes requirements gathering, estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of Oracle Analytics Server reports and dashboards developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will collaborate with solution architects and Leads on development activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform OAS installs and upgrades of previous version on OBIEE to OAS on Linux servers.
  • Lead requirements gathering, design, development, testing and rollout of OAS solutions, reports and dashboards
  • Play a lead role in migrating RPD customizations, reports and dashboards, including related security setups.
  • Create designs and develop reports and dashboards in OAS - both Answers and Data Visualization.
  • Lead the testing and resolution of issues for OAS reports and dashboards
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience with OBIEE or OAS administration.
  • System administration skillset to take responsibility of Oracle software installations and patching.
  • Deep expertise with development of OAS/OBIEE report metadata (i.e., RPD).
  • Experience with migrating RPD and Catalog from one environment to another.
  • Deep experience with configuration for Oracle Analytics Server including integration with Active Directory
  • Expert level skills with report and dashboard design and development in both Answers and Data Visualization
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
