Perficient is currently looking for a Lead Adobe DevOps Engineer for our National Adobe Digital Marketing Practice.   

 

Job Overview:

 

Perficient is seeking a Lead Adobe DevOps Engineer who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Adobe Digital Solutions team. The DevOps Engineer will be dealing with large, high profile clients and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client's complex needs. The candidate should be comfortable leading technical conversations and guiding clients on implementing industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support, along with strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Design the CID release pipelines and build the automated provisioning for AEM environments 
  • Maintain and configure development tools such as CI, environment automation, code quality, and testing tools 
  • Present and explain to customers regarding architecture and best practices 
  • Work with Adobe Managed Services on behalf of customers 
  • Set up, maintain, and monitor production servers and applications as well as testing and development environments 
  • Meeting with and utilizing teammates expertise to maximize project efficiency 
  • Documenting methods and lessons learned 
  • Continual evaluation of internal and technical processes for automation opportunities 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with DevOps supporting production systems 
  • 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Adobe Experience Manager 
  • Expertise with tooling such as: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet 
  • Expertise with virtualization / containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Vagrant, and Kubernetes 
  • Cloud expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud 
  • Programming experience with Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell Scripting, or similar 
  • Strong Linux/Unix Sys Admin background 
  • Continuous integration experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD 
  • Experience using Git as version control 
  • Experience with process reengineering 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting stringent deadlines 
  • Passion for all things automation and the ability to contribute new ideas and industry best practices 
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent skill set 

Preferred Skills and Education:

  • AEM DevOps Certification a major plus 
  • Production experience with clustered environments
