Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Planning and Budgeting Solutions Architect, with emphasis in Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Planning or Profitability and Costing in in our Oracle EPM National Business Unit.

Job Overview:

The Oracle EPM Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of Oracle EPM solutions for our clients.  The Solution Architect must have deep knowledge of EPBCS as well as other applications such as Cloud Consolidations, Data Management / FDMEE, and Enterprise Data Management, etc. and be able to scope and implement a complete architecture on the Oracle EPM product set.

This Solution Architect should be comfortable delivering timely financial information and analysis for both internal and external reporting.   This person should also be able to understand and decipher financial statements (E.g. income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) as well as have a solid understanding of the overall financial process.  (E.g., financial close, budgeting process, etc.)

The Solution Architect will also provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects.  This person must also be able to understand and solve business problems, architect and implement system integrations, and design and develop complex features to meet clients' business needs/requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, manage multiple projects/teams, and participate in the sales pursuits. You will also be expected to contribute to a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture analysis, design, configuration, testing, debugging, application tuning and documentation.

• Own and aggressively drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solution(s) and/or design to project leads for implementation
• Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for Oracle EPM
• Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features
• Project and solution estimation and team structure definitions
• Develop Proof-of-Concept solutions to validate new architectures and solutions
• Liaise with onshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks
• Mentor and provide architectural guidance to both on-shore and off-shore teams to build innovative applications
• Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams
• Engage with functional leads to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
• Engage with technical leads to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs
• Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change

Minimum 8+ years of professional experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion Solutions with expertise in Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Planning or Profitability and Costing

• Oracle EPM with pre-built modules (Financials, Workforce, Capital Planning, Profitability and Costing etc.)
• Oracle Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE)
• Oracle Profitability and Costing (PCM)
• Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDM)
• Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting
• Oracle Hyperion SmartView

At least 6+ full life cycle implementations that cover every project implementation - Requirements, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy or similar experience on the legacy, on-premises  Hyperion product set.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting , CPA, or MBA is a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS accounting standards is a plus
• Have a solid understanding of project delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the documented requirements and design
• Demonstrated success in performing work in complex and/or large consulting projects
• Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
• Ability to elicit, capture, and document requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
• Ability and desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills
• Experience working on multiple implementation projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Be independent and self-driven
