We currently have a career opportunity for a Business Immigration Paralegal  (U.S. Business Immigration) to join our team located in St. Louis, MO. 


The Business Immigration Paralegal will be a member of Perficient’s Global Mobility Team, which oversees the company’s U.S. and global immigration matters, and will assist executives, managers, HR partners, foreign subsidiaries, and foreign national employees with U.S. and global business immigration, compliance, employment authorization, and travel, with a focus on H-1Bs and PERMs.

  • Timely and accurately draft, review, and/or revise H-1B, TN, and L-1 petitions and PERM applications. Supervise junior staff in preparing petitions/applications.
  • Assist with strategies and internal policies with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and work with foreign outside counsel on global mobility matters.
  • Serve as a partner to the business units by understanding business needs and finding solutions.
  • Maintain strong and positive relationships with teammates, internal clients, and vendors.


  • Live in, or relocate to, the St. Louis, MO area for a hybrid schedule (two days per week in the office)
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience with H-1B, TN, and PERM cases.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Sound and practical business judgment, ability to think strategically, and desire to establish a “trusted advisor” relationship with internal clients.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, prioritize workflow, and adapt to changes to processes, team structure, and workload.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with others as a member of a legal team.
