We currently have a career opportunity for a Vendor Coordinator to join our team located in St. Louis. (Must be nearby to be considered)

 

Job Overview:

The Vendor Coordinator position will create and maintain relationships with vendors, create and maintain purchase requisitions, and monitor existing purchase orders for needed updates/extensions. The Vendor Coordinator position will also interact with new subcontractor employees to ensure they receive the instructions to access our systems, enter time worked and travel expenses incurred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison between the Corporate Talent Acquisition team, Corporate Accounting and the Operations teams located in various geographies. Partner with these teams to ensure a collaborative and consistent approach is taken towards the business strategies.
  • Review subcontracting vendor paperwork such as CSA, W9, Direct Deposit Forms, and COI for completeness.
  • Performs comprehensive reviews of existing purchase orders to proactively determine if extensions will be required.  Executing on these findings to ensure extensions are ready before current funding for a vendor is depleted.
  • Interacts professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests.
  • Assists with the development and communications of standards, processes, and procedures in in the subcontractor procurement process.
  • Sets up and maintains subcontractor resources in our Oracle EBS system.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in working with vendors of all sizes.  Experience in the professional services industry.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Understanding of the procurement process.
  • Self-motivated individual who has the adaptability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual; possesses a ‘whatever it takes’ philosophy.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint.
  • Outstanding writing, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Able to in a demanding and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to change priorities dependent upon organizational need.
