We need a content creator and communications authoring expert with a passion for storytelling and an eye for journalism. Perficient is currently looking for a Communications Associate Coordinator for our corporate office located in St. Louis, Missouri. (Hybrid 2x IN OFFICE)


The Communications Associate Coordinator reports directly to Perficient’s Communications Manager, and will support the ongoing efforts of Perficient’s Content and Communications team, assisting in the creation, curation and cultivation of strategic content that aligns with Perficient’s overall strategy and business objectives. You will write, write and write.

  • Support strategic communications programs and content marketing campaigns, with a focus on internal communications, and public relations
  • Champion the Perficient brand with right message, right audience, right time idea across all marketing channels
  • Assist in content creation in support of various internal communications channels, including corporate emails, company intranet, company newsletter, and blog program
  • Assist in creating compelling employment brand content across all channels
  • Assist with project management and administration of company intranet and internal communications calendar
  • Assist with identifying incremental opportunities and coordinate submission materials for award nomination programs
  • Assist with producing monthly reporting outlining communications plans and measuring successes for the executive team
  • Provide strategic input on opportunities to evolve plans and process to grow program success


The role includes creating compelling messaging and storylines together with developing and leveraging relationships to strengthen Perficient’s brand and reputation in the market.


The ideal candidate must possess:


  • A bachelor’s level degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing
  • One to three years’ experience in communications, journalism or public relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to understand and create content from SME interviews, technical documents, etc.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong knowledge of Associated Press style
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to quickly grasp new concepts, strategies, and initiatives
  • Sound project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work professionally with leaders throughout the organization
  • Strong experience driving content through multiple channels
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly motivated, autonomous and proactive
  • Team player, self-starter with a passion for technology who will demonstrate a commitment to elevating the group’s marketing mission
  • Public company, IT industry and/or professional services experience is a plus.


This is a full time position with Perficient. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
