Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Manager HR Systems and Reporting in our St. Louis Global Headquarters, reporting to the Vice President of People. Perficient’s People Team is key to supporting the business, our leaders, and colleagues in all things HR. The team is focused on delivering solutions and exceptional experiences to all Perficient Colleagues throughout their employment lifecycle.

As the lead for HR systems and technical initiatives, you will collaborate across the People (HR) organization.  You will have a significant role in building technological efficiencies, streamlining and documenting processes, and driving innovation and change. The Systems & Services Team is uniquely positioned to ensure that services are efficient and meet all policy and compliance requirements while also taking a proactive approach to understanding how systems, processes, and data can be optimized to enhance the employee experience and support Perficient’s dynamic growth.

 

Oracle HCM Cloud products experience is strongly preferred but will consider other HCM systems experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management, deployment, and ongoing improvement of HR operational services
  • Owns the administration and maintenance of Perficient’s HR technology systems (including Oracle HCM Cloud)
  • Optimizes the cloud implementation to meet workforce requirements crafting opportunities for automation, reduction of manual processes, and simple processes that help drive accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensures efficient and effective delivery of HR services through the best use of HR technology and process design.
  • Ensures training approach and plan for HR results in effective utilization of new systems.
  • Drives process standardization and improvements to simplify and streamline service delivery
  • Participates in related HR initiatives, change management and strategic planning.
  • Manages internal projects and leads data management and analytics team members.
  • Partners with HR functions and stakeholders to define business requirements and translate business needs into tactical system implementation plans, including project prioritization, scheduling and resource planning
  • Establishes and manages tracking and reporting of service delivery KPIs/SLAs, employee experience measures, and operational risks and issues
  • Manages critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business.  Partners with outsourced vendors, as needed, to provide seamless delivery, resolve issues and manage escalations.

Qualifications

Required Experience, Abilities and Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business or related field or 5+ years HR Information Systems (HRIS) work experience
  • Industry best practice experience with an HR digital transformation including: fostering new ways of working, closing knowledge gaps, increasing employee/user engagement, and solving business problems in new ways
  • Strong ability to think through and drive change from an end user perspective.
  • Ability to make key project decisions while collaborating with HR leadership and subject matter advisors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to succinctly deliver key messages to executive and HR stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of HR functions, Payroll, Finance, and IT business processes and how they impact HR systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, both as a leader of teams and as a leader of projects.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when working through complex issues.
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve and clearly communicate observations and recommendations.
  • Adaptability to adjust as the business grows and evolves.

Desired Experience, Abilities and Education:

  • Certifications desired: Project Management Professional (PMP), Process Improvement such as LEAN or Six Sigma, Professional of Human Resources (PHR).
  • Oracle HCM Cloud products experience is strongly preferred but will consider other HCM systems experience.
