Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Project / Product Manager in our Denver, CO office. 

 

This Project Manager will support the launch of new products and expansion of existing ones by focusing on supporting the product and operations teams with integration, operational readiness and successful implementation. This includes developing, testing, and ensuring that M&Ps, workflows and policies are being followed and identifying any gaps that may impact the customer experience. This position will foster adoption of new products internally and externally, thereby driving and accelerating PSU and revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Development, Release Management, Technology Services groups, and all other stakeholders  on product release, integration and or implementation.
  • Contribute to an innovative, collaborative work team to develop plans for the rollout of new products and services that account for the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and conduct meetings as needed in order to facilitate product knowledge and changes as needed. Collect input and feedback for future enhancements as needed.
  • Define implementation and rollout requirements, in particular, training, and communications, to support launch activities, as well as ongoing refresher training.
  • Manage post-deployment evaluation of the effectiveness of the rollout process and policies. Create metrics for success and KPIs from an operations perspective, e.g. trouble call rates
  • Conduct the evaluation of Product Individual Case Basis (ICB) requests by working with operations teams to ensure they can be delivered and supported effectively in order to provide the best customer experience possible.
  • Act as the project manager for product enhancements, and act as product operations SME to functional areas in supporting the lead to cash workflow.
  • Experience with commercial services, including Managed Services, Fiber Internet Access, and Ethernet products, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Operational processes and protocols.
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities to translate into opportunities.
  • Maintains regular client communication and satisfaction, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Helps deliver presentations to clients and management teams
  • Contributes to project discoveries, kickoff, prepare proposals and statements of work following company standards
  • Translate client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents, use cases and systems interaction diagrams
  • Gather, document and analyze output of business and data requirements using any of the following methodologies: use cases, function/non function requirements, epics/user stories
  • Improve systems or process by studying current practices, identifying process improvements, and designing modifications
  • Follow and execute against the specific business analysis requirements as defined by the business organization
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria
  • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met
  • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test execution

Qualifications

 

  • Cable/Teleco experience is prefered. 
  • 5-7 years Product Management / Product Integration experience.
  • Desire to lead projects and work streams
  • Ability to create and deliver business strategies and drive solutions for client’s opportunities and challenges
  • Experience working in a cross functional role is a plus (IT, finance, marketing, process optimization, change management, ect.)
  • Ability to manage complex and fast paced project engagements
  • Confidence and conviction when presenting to client senior executives, client sub-contractors and internal leadership
  • Ability to take an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Strong experience with process improvement
  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Great organizational, planning and multitasking skills

 Perferred Skills and Education

  • BA or MBA
  • Experience working in the consulting industry
  • Understanding of complex Internet based enterprise level applications
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Track record of delivering on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments
