About Our National Adobe Digital Marketing Practice

 

The Adobe Practice at Perficient was established in 2010 and has expanded to a global presence. Perficient is currently looking for an Adobe Digital Asset Management Lead for our National Adobe Digital Marketing Practice. This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. Some client site travel; otherwise work will be done remote from home.

 

Job Overview:

 

The Assets Lead will play a vital role in the architecture design, configuration, testing and deployment of AEM Assets solutions. You will work closely with marketing departments, IT, developers, system administrators, and end users to build state-of-the-art Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations for large customers.

 

Ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience working as a digital librarian, managing digital assets for large organizations in AEM Assets, including a strong technical knowledge of the capabilities of AEM Assets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to gather functional and technical requirements around digital asset metadata, taxonomy, organization, and workflow
  • Firm understanding of photography, creative, and production processes common in agencies and digital media organizations
  • Create governance, process, and training documentation for future continuity in managing assets
  • Be able to organize and create efficient metadata models/schemas, taxonomy namespaces, and search schemas
  • Configure AEM to publish to Dynamic Media / Scene7, configure presets, filters, and color profiles
  • Understand color models, ICC profiles and configuration of AEM to process CMYK assets
  • Work with 3D content, understand capabilities and restrictions, and integration with Maya and Autodesk FBX SDK.
  • Understand AEM video management capabilities, video processing, 3rd party syndication and viewing
  • Configure AEM Projects to work with photography and video production shoots and workflow
  • Understand using InDesign, InDesign Server, Photoshop, Bridge and Creative Cloud integration with AEM
  • Work to create content and experience fragment models to meet customer needs
  • Recognize and scope custom AEM development for extending AEM Assets
  • Use AEM AssetShare to create brand portals
  • Understand Digital Rights Management, and advise and configure archival policies
  • Work with AEM architects and system administrators to design infrastructure, calculate sizing, install and configure AEM Assets for on premise solutions or cloud based solutions

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a digital librarian working with AEM Assets 6.x
  • Formal Adobe Training on AEM Assets is preferred
  • Knowledge of AEM 6.3 capabilities is a major plus
  • HTML/CSS/JS front-end development experience is a major plus
  • Digital Marketing and Social experience is a major plus
  • Experience working with geographically separate project teams
  • Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
  • Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment
  • Exposure to open-source technologies
  • Experience building, deploying and supporting Internet-facing applications
  • Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
