Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in our St. Louis office.

 

The Accounts Receivables Specialist will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, customer queries, and follow up on past due invoices.
  • Manage invoicing process. Confirm G/L impacts and distribute invoices according to customer requirements.
  • Process credit and debit memos and adjustments.
  • Track customer Sales tax information, documenting exemption status as needed.
  • Calculate and post monthly pre-paid, insurance and general expense accruals.
  • Work with internal customers to report intercompany A/R balances and identify necessary adjustments.
  • Reconcile related General Ledger accounts.
  • Review and research Unapplied Funds and overpayments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to identify and reconcile issues.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Understanding of G/L and month end Journal Entries
  • Three to five years of accounts receivable and general accounting experience is preferred
  • Strong customer relations experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
