Our marketing team has an opening for a Marketing Specialist to run the marketing activities for the Salesforce practice. This person will report directly to the partner & industry marketing director, with dotted-line reporting to the General Manager of the Salesforce practice. This person will work very closely with our Salesforce leadership team, as well as key Salesforce alliance contacts.

Responsibilities

    • We are looking for a content strategy rockstar. Someone who can conduct full marketing planning and can roll up their sleeves to get it done. This person loves to tell stories and can work with the team to make those stories visually compelling.
    • We are looking for someone who is creative, and wants to find the best new ways to tell client stories – whether using online and social tools, video, or something else.
    • You will work with the Salesforce & partner marketing team to successfully create and execute demand generation campaigns and assets aligned to Perficient’s Salesforce consulting service capabilities.
    • You will create and execute on a marketing plan to align to the Salesforce business unit’s business goals, and align with Salesforce fiscal and funding goals.
    • You will be responsible for managing the marketing budget aligning with the Salesforce GTM strategy.
    • We want to keep our content fresh, so you will need to regularly update existing content in addition to blogging and showcasing client stories and other assets that you create keeping business goals in focus.
    • You will collaborate with alliance management to support partner communications as well as develop and share sales enablement materials such as partner newsletters, pitch decks, and solution sheets.
    • You will support the Salesforce social media content. Posting & monitoring relevant content where it makes the most sense.
    • You will work with key subject matter experts within the Salesforce group to create and promote content with prospects, customers and partner relationships.
    • You will track demand generation program spending and measure marketing effectiveness through ongoing analytics relevant campaign metrics.
    • You will help to plan and execute meetings, partner field marketing events, conferences and large trade shows. The Marketing Manager will be expected to attend several conferences per year (some of which last 4-5 days) in various cities. Total travel expected to be 10-15 nights per year.
    • You will develop relationships and work with field, channel and partner alliance marketing personnel and coordinate campaign target lists & requirements in coordination with inside and outside sales reps.
    • You will collaborate with Perficient’s broader marketing organization to leverage available resources on behalf of the Salesforce group.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience with demonstrated capacity to develop content marketing assets
    • Experience and/or familiarity with Salesforce software stack preferred
    • Familiarity with account, contact and campaign management and reporting with Salesforce CRM is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create (rather than just assemble) content
    • Solid project and people management skills
    • Working knowledge of the enterprise software and/or consulting industry
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and other relevant programs
    • Strong experience driving content through social channels
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly-motivated, autonomous and proactive
    • Team player, self-starter with a passion for technology who will demonstrate a commitment to elevating the group’s marketing mission
    • Comfortable working across matrix organizations to drive results
