Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Integration Architect in our National Cloud, Integration and DevOps Practice in Boston, MA


Job Overview:

The Integration Architect role will work internally to oversee the current system, drive growth in applications, and work to align our internal IT environment with our business goals.  In addition to supporting existing business needs the Integration Architect will support the design of solutions to support the integration of future business acquisitions and growth. In the role of an Integration Architect, you will work with Perficient executives and IT leadership to understand business priorities and challenges through Discovery sessions, tailored approaches and strategic positioning. Based on these inputs you will architect solutions that meet business needs. 




  • Lead Architecture and Blueprint sessions with business leaders
  • Deliver transformation roadmaps, optimization and standardization strategies
  • Sharing Real World implementation experiences & methods
  • Participate in the development and execution of the IT strategy around IBM strategies and future growth platforms
  • Leadership skills 
  • Establish yourself trusted advisor and strategic partner with our internal team
  • Lead context specific architecture workshops and routine briefings on relevant technology and architectural trends
  • Understanding the merit, risk and viability of the solution(s) proposed to meet the objectives of the business
  • Negotiate with and influence senior leadership



Key Requirement:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of total IT experience.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in Architecting and Designing complex high-available systems using SOA Services, APIs using IBM tools and/or open source tools.
  • Must have strong Architecture Analysis capability.
  • Experience with different project management methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative Waterfall, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, documentation and modeling skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture requirements.
  • Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies quickly.
  • Experience in SOA/API architecture and enterprise services implementation is must
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Management / Data Management
  • Strong analysis capability, able to lead the effort independently with minimum supervision such as interviewing and collecting data from various teams within the organization.
  • Must have experience in creating project Solution Blueprints with strong documentation skill.
  • Must have ability to influence and lead the Technical Architecture Design discussions.
  • Ability to multitask and must be able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Assist with data modeling, process flow analysis, definition and refinement of business processes
  • Ability to lead and execute POC in new and emerging digital technology
  • Strong understanding industry best practices of SOA and API concepts
  • SDLC support with hands-on skill.
  • Must be open to travel as needed.

Nice to Have Experience/Skills:

  • System Architect Certification or working experience is preferred
  • Digital technology experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or other related advanced degree
  • Preferred PM skills such as creating project plan in MS Project, tracking scheduling tasks and collaboration with multiple teams.
  • Experience in either of Healthcare/Retail/Financial Services industry.
