    Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Software Sales Representative in the Northeast or Southeast or Mid-Western US location.


    The Software Sales Specialist is an entry level sales position within Perficient. The intent is to hire individuals into this role that have the ability to become Business Development Executives in the future.  The Software Sales Specialist is responsible for the overall Software business within a defined territory.  Software Sales includes prospecting, marketing, sales, and sales assistance (of other Perficient Sales resources) of software and technology across multiple vendors to Perficient Clients.


    The Software Sales Specialist is expected to:

    1. Identify, qualify and progress, potential software opportunities, teaming with other Sales Resources, which will produce software revenue and margin from:
      1. Software Resale
      2. Referral and/or Influence Fees
    2. Identify, qualify, progress and close potential software opportunities at new or inactive accounts which will produce software revenue and margin from:
      1. Software Resale
      2. Referral and/or Influence Fees
    3. Identify, qualify, and hand qualified services opportunities to other Sales resources which will produce new revenue at:
      1. Enterprise and Strategic Accounts
      2. New clients with propensity to spend $1M+ annually on services




    College Degree (any)

    1-3 years experience in inside sales, sales, marketing, or customer service roles

    Excellent Communications skills

    Basic knowledge of I/T 

    Experience with standard business tools (Word, Excel, etc)
