The Senior Organic Search Strategist role is a key contributor to the SEO team, responsible for driving organic results for our top clients and driving innovation and growth within the SEO team.
Top performers in this position will also:
Understands the concepts behind entity search and topic modeling. Uses this knowledge to improve client performance.
Can optimize for semantic relevance and the proper interplay between short and long-tail keywords.
Can implement a number of different types of structured data.
Knows how to identify and correct the most complicated advanced technical SEO issues.
Understands how to “follow the money” for clients to propose strategies likely to deliver results and show a positive ROI. Applies a strong business acumen to ensure that proposed tasks focus on impactful areas of the client’s business.
Reporting & Analysis
Provides insightful and actionable analysis on monthly and ad hoc client reports.
Can perform link hygiene analysis. Can decipher a link profile to see signals from noise. Understands what gives a particular link value.
Can utilize APIs to pull data into Excel. Uses Excel well to format and display information effectively.
Understands the relationship between databases and HTML page templates. Can diagnose errors and spot missing elements.
