    Perficient Health Sciences is looking for an experienced Solution Lead. Candidates can live anywhere in the US and can work from home but must be willing to travel to client sites from 50% to 75% of the time.  Perficient is on a mission to help the Healthcare industry take advantage of modern data and analytics architectures, tools, and patterns to improve the quality and affordability of care.  This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to assist Perficient and its customers to grow the capabilities necessary to improve care through better use of data and information, and in the process take their career to the next level. 


    • Collaborate with business users to define business, technical and data requirements, and translate these requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
    • Architect, Design and Develop data mappings and flows, interface specifications, data movement jobs and data integration interfaces.
    • Perform data profiling and analysis, including data quality analysis.


    This consultant will have very strong clinical data and process experience coupled with technical EHR data integration, sourcing, and interoperability skills.  S/he will have hands-on experience with one or more of: Epic, Cerner, or AllScripts integration interfaces (APIs), data extraction and sourcing, as well as experience working with FHIR and HL7.


    Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to drive conversations with senior clinicians and executives.


    EHR certification is preferred, however direct experience working with APIs, common integration interfaces, data repositories and clinical data will suffice.

    Tools & Technologies:

    • Epic APIs, Bridges, common interfaces, FHIR interfaces, Clarity, Kit and Caboodle
    • Cerner Ignite APIs and SMART on FHIR interfaces
    • AllScripts Unity and FHIR APIs
    • Strong SQL query language development skills
    • ETL/ELT development experience
    • Experience working with Apache Hadoop tools (HDFS, Spark, Python, Hive) preferred



    • 5+ years experience working directly on application integration and data integration projects within the Healthcare Provider setting.
    • 3+ years working on Epic, Cerner or AllScripts in an integration developer role.
    • 3+ years hands on data integration and development (ETL / ELT) jobs and flows.
    • 2+ years performing data analysis and modeling within the Healthcare environment
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Experience gathering and elaborating business and technical requirements
    • Willingness to travel 50 - 75% within North America.
