    Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Lead Technical Consultant in charge of Innovation Lab Projects in our Ohio office located in Cincinnati, OH.

     

    Job Overview:

     

    As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for new innovation lab projects which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Define innovative solutions to business problems.  Oversee the design, construction, and prototyping of these solutions in a fast paced lab environment. 
    • Lead the technical planning & requirements definition including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and prototyping.
    • Serve as a technical lead and mentor.  Provide technical thought leadership in the conception and development of innovative software solutions.
    • Inspire team members to create innovative solutions.
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

     

    Qualifications

      • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with Microsoft .NET.
      • At least 8 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks
      • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in desktop and interactive web technologies using various technologies like IIS, .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX, HTML5, WCF, WPF, Entity Framework, Enterprise Library, AngularJs, Jquery, Web services and SOA
      • Deep knowledge of latest in MVC, MVP, MVVM design patterns and methodologies.
      • Custom development utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, BizTalk, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, MDM, and DQS will be a plus.
      • Expert knowledge of SQL statements.
      • Acquainted with usage of configuration tools (e.g. TFS, VSS, SVN) and testing tools like Microsoft Test Manager.
      • Expertise in the .NET development using the C# language.
      • Advanced knowledge in building and deploying .NET based web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and WebAPI.
      • Strong understanding of common software design patterns.
      • Strong understanding of common software architectural patterns.
      • Experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, Web Forms, MVC, Web Services, and Service Oriented Architecture required.
      • Knowledge of version control systems, web development experience.
      • Experience working in an Agile, Scrum environment and Extreme Programming methodologies.
      • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
      • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
      • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
      • Ability to envision innovative solutions employing the latest technical and architectural approaches to address business problems statements that provide high level insight.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
