    Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Lead Technical Consultant for our CPS Business Unit based in Atlanta, GA.

     

    Job Overview:

     

    As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
    • Serve as a technical lead and mentor.  Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

     

    Qualifications

    • Senior level IIB developer
    • 100% on-site candidate, Local to Atlanta area.
    • 5+ years IBM Integration Bus 9/10
    • Proficient working with and within IBM MQ Series
    • Strong SQL skills, especially within Oracle as this is what we use primarily.
    • Must be able to write scripts to create db objects when necessary and otherwise just excellent querying abilities.
    • Strong ESQL XSLT skills.
    • Experience in Java
    • Experience in Data Power 
    • Must be proficient in Git and SVN, Especially Git.
    • Excellent in-person communication skills – this person will be working closely with the Business to help drive development efforts based on Business needs. They will need to be able to tease out what The Business is asking for even if they might not know what they want.
    • Excellent written communication skills – this person will be writing documentation on the wiki for other developers and for The Business, as well as creating and maintaining JIRA tickets.
