    Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant in our growing National practice.

    The ideal candidate's will demonstrate expertise and acquired knowledge utilizing React.JS and related tools.

     

    This role will largely be remote with minimal travel requirements.

     

     

    *Travel expenses will be managed by Perficient for full-time permanent W2 employees (Travel/Lodging, Misc approved)

    These roles are permanent Salaried W2-with full benefits-including a 401K that is matched, strong PTO package as well as an incentive bonus.

    Compensation is determined by the management team after the interview process based on the recommendation for role/title assignment.

     

     

    Job Overview:

    As a Senior React JS Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. While your primary focus will be developing software using React JS, you will have an opportunity to work with full stack development technologies.  As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
    • Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
    • Develop applications in languages including React JS, Angular and Java with Spring Boot.
    • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Senior-Level experience of a minimum of FIVE YEARS

    Qualified Candidates should demonstrate strong acquired expertise,

    knowledge and hands on practical experience within the following core competencies

     

    • React JS
    • Angular JS
    • JavaScript
    • HTML
    • CSS

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience developing for Cloud based solutions
    • Angular JS
    • Express
    • Client Side Stores: Redux, Ngrx, etc.
    • Java with Spring Boot
    • MySQL, PostgreSQL
    • NoSQL: MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.
    • Container experience (Docker with Linux)
    • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

    • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
    • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
    • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
    • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
    • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
