    Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Telecom Product Business Analyst in our Denver, CO office.

     

    Job Overview:

    This role will be responsible for identifying, documenting, analyzing, and communicating requirements of a complex telecommunication product catalogue and product pricing application. This consultant will have to translate product structure into user stories and track the entire software development lifecycle from development to release.  Will also need to manage downstream system dependencies and be available for general troubleshooting of responsible product quoting.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Document client’s business needs into detailed business requirements documents (User Stories) and use cases
    • Translate business requirements to technical requirements with emphasizes on simplicity and ease of use
    • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges & priorities to translate into ongoing opportunities
    • Manage multiple priorities and work across client groups to eliminate barriers and complete high quality projects in agreed upon time frames
    • Organize requirements into related categories to effectively manage and communicate them
    • Maintain regular client communication, ensuring opportunities and challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
    • Contribute to project discoveries, kickoffs, prepares proposals & statements of work following company standards as needed.
    • Assist project team to establish high, mid, and micro level plans for project delivery.
    • Help establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.
    • Build trusted client relationships through proactive account management and effective project delivery
    • Provides leadership throughout the lifecycles of a project, guiding the understanding the project team has through design and development to ensure project requirements are met
    • Helps establish project test strategy, methodologies, test plans as well as assist with test execution
    • Prevent and correct defects; support enhancements and making changes to increase the value provided by the system
    • Assure IT compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
    • Telecom experience, familiarity with telecom data services products
    • Work closely with business stakeholder group to not only understand the business requirements, but to also  collaborate with these stakeholders to shape the requirements and solution in a way that meets the business objective and is consistent with the enterprise practices and architecture.

    Qualifications

    • BS or BA preferred
    • Minimum 3-5 years IT training, and/ or work experience.
    • 3 years of Business Analyst experience
    • Rules engine/ Configure Price Quote (CPQ) background/knowledge
    • Must be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • ScrumMaster certification a plus
    • Ability to work within a high performing team against tight deadlines.
    • Elevated attention to detail, excellent listening skills, critical thinking.

     

    • Preferred
      Previous consulting experience working with clients to recommend strategy and roadmaps.
    • Solid technical skills within highly complex, multi-system environments
    • Basic data query experience desirable
