    Usually a major in computer science, engineering or an engineering degree with programming coursework and an interest in being a software developer, the Associate Technical Consultant builds world class software applications for some of the country’s largest companies. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to collaborate, manage, and communicate with the Production Support Delivery Teams, IT Development teams, Leadership, and Clients on multiple projects.
    • Manage the Incident and Problem reporting process for all production issues and escalate/interface to various teams to facilitate the management of resolution.
    • Act as a liaison to business clients communicating status and providing periodic updates on all high severity problems and issues impacting the business. Provide guidance on common process and procedures.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
    • Ability to performs final Production Support testing of all enhancements and manages the change control process for IT operations. Oversee the Production Environment and Change Control governance processes.
    • Ensure all builds launch successfully, metrics are captured, process improvements and efficiencies are being identified and implemented.
    • Experience in AEM (CQ5) application from setup infrastructure to trouble shooting issues.
    • Perform gap analysis between existing systems and collaborate with development teams to implement improvements where required.
    • Track, and report on support requests and priorities, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and thorough manner.
    • Perform root cause analysis and trend reporting on all issues.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the entire production systems along with responsibility for the Release Management function that manages and controls the application migrations from development, QA, and ultimately to Ford production environments.
    • Provide support for IT's Transformation Initiatives by continuously looking for process improvement opportunities and subsequently working to formulate, communicate, and implement new and updated common practices and methods.
    • Ensures first response "triage", analysis, and resolution of incident report tickets submitted by all teams within agreed upon service level agreements.
    • Development background is a plus.
