    Perficient is currently looking for an AEM Assets Solution Architect for our National Adobe Practice. This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. Some client site travel; otherwise work will be done remotely from home or a local Perficient office.

     

    Job Overview:

    The Assets Solution Architect will play a vital role in the architecture, design, configuration, testing and deployment of AEM Assets solutions. You will work closely with marketing departments, IT, developers, system administrators, and end users to build state-of-the-art Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations for large customers.

     

    Ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience creating digital asset management programs for large organizations, and five (5) years of experience implementing AEM. Candidate must demonstrate a working understanding of the digital asset needs of marketing departments and B2B and B2C commerce. A mix of creative knowledge, business-facing communication, and technical knowledge of AEM Assets is required.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Firm understanding of photography, creative, and production processes common in agencies and digital media organizations
    • Create governance, process, and training documentation for future continuity in managing assets
    • Able to organize and create efficient metadata models/schemas, taxonomy namespaces, and search schemas
    • Configure AEM to publish to Dynamic Media / Scene7, configure presets, filters, and color profiles
    • Understanding the training of AEM Smart Tags using Adobe Sensei to enable client-specific Smart Tags
    • Understand color models, ICC profiles and configuration of AEM to process CMYK assets
    • Understand AEM video management capabilities, video processing, 3rd party syndication and viewing
    • Configure AEM Projects to work with photography and video production shoots and workflow
    • Understand using InDesign, InDesign Server, Photoshop, Bridge and Creative Cloud integration with AEM
    • Work to create content and experience fragment models to meet customer needs
    • Work with an AEM Technical Architect to scope custom AEM development for extending AEM Assets
    • Understand how to provision and configure Adobe Brand Portal to asset portals
    • Understand Digital Rights Management, and advise and configure archival policies
    • Work with AEM architects and system administrators to design infrastructure, calculate sizing, install and configure AEM Assets for on premise solutions or cloud-based solutions

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum three (3) years of experience with AEM Assets 6.x
    • Formal Adobe Training on AEM Assets is preferred
    • Knowledge of AEM 6.4 capabilities is a major plus
    • Experience with asset governance and organizational change management a major plus
    • Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment
    • Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
    • Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
    • Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
    • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
    • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
    • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
    • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
    • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
    • Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.
    • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Be independent and self-driven.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Must be open to travel.

    Preferred skills and education:

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Certifications in AEM 
    • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
    • Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
    • Track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes
    • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams
