    Perficient Digital currently has a career opportunity for a Technical Analyst with Web Analytics.

     

    Job Overview:

    As a Senior Digital Analyst you will be a part of Perficient Digital’s Digital Marketing Practice working on projects from audits/assessments, to site builds and migrations, to full Digital Marketing AORs. You will be a deep subject matter expert and help guide junior analytics resources to execute strategically to track, tag, and measure business-impactful data, esnure accurate and valid reporting, and present in a digestible and actionable way.

     

    You will be responsible for primarily working with Google and Adobe anaytics and tag management platforms, but will be a part of a growing data and customer inteligence team that utilizes customer data platforms and business intelligence systems to provide a single view of the customer across multiple channels.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Lead analytics discovery process and the development of documentation, deliverables and solutions requirements for web analytics tracking and reporting
    • Understand client business requirements and how to map those requirements to specific digital measurement tactics
    • Provide estimates, timelines, resource needs and analytics project plan details based on requirements and anticipated work effort
    • Work closely with account management and development teams to oversee the implementation, configuration and debugging of web analytics code, both on-site and through tag management systems
    • Provide training and support to client stakeholders regarding their analytics implementation
    • Provide analytics thought leadership in all projects and support team growth and training initiatives
    • Be a leader for junior and mid-level analysts as well as peers and juniors on other DM teams
    • Support digital marketing teams (paid search, SEO, conversion rate optimization, digital media, etc.) to implement customized tracking for campaign initiatives
    • Ability to understand, draw insights from, and extrapolate client data into business impactful trends and measurable action
    • Ability to assess current state of client regardless of engagement, and identify strategic opportunities and next steps based on problem solving/solutioning approach for greatest business impact vs. least relative effort
    • Intimate understanding of digital ecosystem and how to assess and improve areas of opportunity for client
    • Experience in, and working knowledge and understanding of all digital marketing channels and their primary process/function/value
    • Ability to be a leader for both junior strategists as well as peers and juniors on other DM teams
    • Experience and expert ability to own and manage analytics for upper-mid-market and enterprise accounts
    • Ability to coordinate and work cohesively with the larger digital marketing team to ensure strong internal communication, alignment to goals, and iterative delivery across all channels
    • Experience and expertise in defining measurement plans to track strategic initiatives and tie them back to business goals and KPIs
    • Keep up-to-date with the newest industry analytics and digital marketing trends
    • Engage in agency thought leadership
      • Participate in creation of analytics-focused blog posts
      • Responsible for contributing ideas and content for the Digital Marketing newsletter

    Qualifications

    • B.S. or B.A. Degree: Business, Marketing, Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
    • 5 - 7+ years of Web Analytics experience in an Analyst/Senior Analyst capacity.
    • 5 - 7+ years of Web Development experience as it relates to the development, configuration and implementation of Web Analytics solutions.
    • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Analytics and related tools (Workspace, Report Builder, Ad Hoc Analysis, Data Workbench, Data Warehouse), Business Practitioner or Architect certification preferred.
    • Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics, IQ (individual qualification) certification required.
    • Expert-level knowledge in a Tag Management system is preferred, with Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager being the current solutions of choice.
    • Experience in producing reference manuals, developer guides, and/or code requirements.
    • Experience with multiple industries and site types (ecommerce, lead gen, etc.).
    • Excellent English written skills and the ability to write for both technical and non-technical users.
    • Ability to effectively communicate regular and timely updates on work status and meet project deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills, serving as an analytics thought-leader for clients.
    • Strong project management capabilities with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to meet administrative time entry and billing requirements both internally and externally
    • Willingness to travel for client discoveries and other off-site meetings.
    • Strong team partnership mentality and an ability to work independently when needed.
    • Adobe Sales Practitioner qualified on all Adobe Marketing Cloud products
    • Adobe Analytics certification at either the business analyst, developer, or architect level
    • Functional familiarity or higher with Adobe marketing stack (Target, Campaign, Audience Manager, AdCloud)

     

     

    Preferred Skills:

    • Prior experience leading analytics implementation projects
    • Experience mentoring or training junior team members
    • Experience with cross-domain tracking
    • Experience with developing analytics testing processes
    • Experience with other Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions a plus (Target, Campaign, Audience Manager, Media Optimizer)
    • Experience with other tag management platforms (Tealium, Ensighten, etc.) a plus
    • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools a plus
