    Perficient Digital currently has a career opportunity for an QA Lead Engineer in our Atlanta office located in Atlanta, GA.


    Position Overview:

    Perficient Digital is looking for a passionate and technically focused QA Lead Engineer who is experienced in QA test design and development, including automation frameworks and strategies. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and highly performing QA Lead Engineer who is comfortable presenting technical material to internal and external audiences and capable of leading test efforts, including manual and automated testing, for large and complex products.






    • Perform automated and manual test design and execution within each Sprint/build for both desktop and mobile apps.
    • Define and document test strategy, test plans and test cases by evaluating functional and non-functional requirements
    • Design, develop and maintain test suites providing full coverage for components, business applications and other content
    • Create and update test function libraries, test applications, test automation scripts and data files
    • Develop a strong understanding of the application and domain to perform hands-on testing of the services from a technical standpoint (specially to test aspects such as load, response time, end-to-end connectivity, availability, security, etc.)
    • Manage the status of issues and changes in a bug tracking tool and provide updates to the team and clients on a regular basis
    • Adapt to changing timelines, requirements, and priorities
    • Create weekly metrics/reports to capture test progress for projects and releases
    • Handle testing efforts for multiple projects/releases concurrently
    • Adapt to the needs of the group to coordinate testing efforts and meet all deliverable deadlines
    • Keep up with developments in test automation frameworks, processes and practices
    • Cross-train other team members in testing and automation standards and processes
    • Provide strategic solutions to enhance quality, scalability
    • Raise and communicate concerns, red alerts early in the project if they would impact quality and launch timing


    • Requirements


      • 5+ years of professional automated testing experience, preferably in an Agile environment with a working understanding of the Scrum methodology and other SDLC processes
      • Manual testing experience and proficiency in test planning, design, execution and reporting in Exploratory, Integration, E2E/Interface, Usability, Acceptance, Compatibility/Accessibility
      • Performance and Security/Vulnerability testing for both web and mobile applications
      • Experience with Selenium /WebDriver or similar UI test automation tools and frameworks like TestNG or Junit
      • Experience with Appium, Calabash, Mobile App-Center, VSTS or similar app automation tools and frameworks for mobile automation. Experience in creating a framework/s, guiding the team, creating scripts and executing them in a scalable process.
      • Experience with JMeter or similar Build, Unit and Load testing tools
      • Experience with web technologies - JavaScript, CSS, and related development tools
      • Must have Mobile QA experience.

       Preferred Qualifications


      • Programming experience with knowledge of Java,
      • Data experience with knowledge of XML, SQL
      • Experience with CMS platforms such as Episerver, Sharepoint, Sitefinity, Drupal, AEM, Sitecore etc.
