Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Designer in our Sitecore Accelerated Services unit, located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

The Designer will play a key role on Perficient’s project teams by delivering innovative, highly usable websites and applications that meet clients’ requirements. This role will communicate directly with clients to understand their UX objectives and challenges (usability, find-ability), produce mood boards and design systems that reflect the brand, produce prototypes and designs that fulfill identified objectives objective, and hand off usable design artifacts to front-end developers for execution. In addition, the Designer role helps our clients present their content in a way that makes intuitive sense to their users. 


The ideal candidate will be curious, well-rounded, highly detail oriented and have a passionate interest in leading-edge digital design. He or she will enjoy the challenge of designing around content, designing for web and mobile, as well as customer applications and other types of projects. 



  • Design innovative solutions that align with clients’ business and user needs, leveraging brand identity systems, typography, fonts, etc. 
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to understand user needs and translate user needs to website/experience requirements and functionality 
  • Develop mood boards to inform the experience look-and-feel and translate brand systems to the digital space   
  • Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and journeys through the new experience 
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and other team members for requirements gathering 
  • Provide quality assurance and visual QA on creative deliverables 
  • Build and maintain rapport with team members, fostering a collaborative environment 
  • Succinctly and clearly articulate concepts 
  • Work in partnership with multiple clients and internal marketing teams 
  • Work, support and collaborate with client design teams or 3rd part design agencies 
  • Attend daily stand ups and scrum ceremonies as needed throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Keep abreast of design trends to enable leveraging new design solutions in future projects 
  • Occasionally help with internal marketing deliverables and business initiatives 


  • 3+ years of industry experience in web, mobile and responsive design with a focus on UI/UX and UI design
  • Experience creating mood boards, wireframes and designs that provide practical design solutions
  • Strong portfolio of work reflecting clean, intuitive and functional design
  • Ability to present work and underlying thought process
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud, Invision, Sketch, Zeplin
  • Proficiency in Visual Design
  • Understanding of web technology concepts and industry trends
  • Strong technical aptitude & critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication; presentation skills a plus
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong collaborator and open to constructive feedback
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Desire to take ownership and excel in follow-through and feedback incorporation

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree; Preferably in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field;
  • Agency experience
  • Have worked on both small and large teams
  • Proven track record of successfully applying design principles and methodologies
  • Experience designing for varying levels of accessibility including AA, WCAG and 508 compliance
  • Experience creating personas and/or user journey based on user research and data
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, user research and usability testing
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and/or Javascript
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with CMS solutions
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap UI Framework
  • Experience designing for iOS or Android 
  • Enterprise and component-based UX/design
  • Ability to push past boundaries and think outside the box
  • Experience working in an agile environment on cross-functional, client-centered project teams
  • Experient with Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence
